This is another one of those books I plan to read. As to running? Um, no. I’d rather be fat than run and I loathe being fat. =D
I had not heard of this book before, but the summary sounds very intriguing! It reminds me of “Among the Hidden” (which I have not read, but my son has).
I have never been a runner until the past year, when my sister convinced me to start some training. I can’t say that I love it, but I did just finish my first 5K last month!
I am a runner and I love it! You have to get past the 5K and do a 10K and then you will be hooked. I was one of those people that was never athletic growing up but starting running after my first child, very slowly at first, never thinking that I would stick to it or like it. I have now made it up to 8 miles but have had to stop completely due to some complications in this pregnancy. I actually listen to podcasts while I run, that was how I first discovered LDSWBR was through their podcast.
I love running especially in the summer. My favorite run is to start at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon and run to the bottom. I’ve always been a sun worshiper, however, and in the summer I love to swim in my dad’s pool with the family.
I read this book right after it came out. It’s one of those books you don’t stop thinking about for a long time. Abel did a great job on this one, and I can’t wait to read what he writes next.
I’ve seen Abel around a lot on FB and TW but haven’t yet gotten the chance to pick up one of his books. I’ll have to grab one for my reading this year! I’m not a runner but I do love to be active and I do like riding my bike.
This is one book I really want to read. It sounds so intriguing. I’m not really a runner, although I do run when chasing my cousins’ little ones around the yard or house. I do like to be active by doing Walk Away the Pounds, walking outside, and by dancing around the house to musicals.
I’ve heard so much about this book. It sounds awesome!
I’m actually a runner. I don’t necessarily love it, but I do like it. It’s the only thing that seems to keep me in shape. Or, right now, gets me in shape. lol :)
I’m not much of an athlete. However, I’ve just started walking every other morning with a friend. The other days we go to an aerobics class. Abel’s ideal summer day sounds great!
