LDSWBR: What book or movie reminds you of summer?
TRISTI: This was a tough question for me to answer. I can’t think of any with a theme that reminds me most of summer, so will you take a book I read during the summer? I have very fond memories of curling up on my bed with a nice thick copy of Little Women.
LDSWBR: Do you hike during the summer? If so, where is your favorite place to hike?
TRISTI: Do I hike? What, are you trying to give me a heart attack and make me die? No, I do not hike. I occasionally hike up my skirt, but that’s about it.
LDSWBR: What is the best book you’ve read so far this year?
TRISTI: With all the editing I’ve been doing this year, I haven’t had a lot of time to read published works. I can tell you, though, that there are some great books coming out by my editing clients in the not-so-distant future!
LDSWBR: Thanks, Tristi!

DESERET BOOK | BARNES & NOBLE | AMAZON | GOODREADS
The town of Omni has a thorny problem. Two rival crime syndicates have chosen the quiet mountains of Utah as their hideout. Now they want to join forces and become stronger than ever. When the FBI needs to send two undercover agents to infiltrate the mob, they call on Jack and Molly — field operatives of experience and skill — to pose as floral-shop-owning Mormons so they’ll blend in to the conservative background. Jack bears a resemblance to Joe Baker, notorious mob hit man, and stands the best chance at going undetected. The biggest challenge? Teaching Molly how to arrange a dozen roses. Compared to that, bringing down the Mafia will be a tiptoe through the tulips.
Have you read Little Women? Which movie version is your favorite?

I love Little Women! I have read it several times, but not recently, so I’m about due again. I would have to say the movie version with Kathryn Hepburn as Jo is my favorite.
I just got this book! I am SOOOO excited to read it! As for Little Women, I have only seen the 1994 version, so I couldn’t say which one is my favorite. Little Women is a great book. I’ve also enjoyed other books of Louisa May Alcott. Fabulous writer!
Never been my very favorite book, although I read it as a kid. My wife hates it, confident that Jo choose wrong. I didn’t like the Sigourney Weaver version at all.
This book looks really cite! I haven’t read any of Tristi’s books, but I think I have reason to start! I like her sense of humor. :)
I have read it and my favorite version as the one with Christian Bale as Laurie. Though I still cringe when Jo has her chat with him.
Mine has been and will forever remain the 1949 version with June Allyson, Peter Lawford Margaret O’Brien, Elizabth Taylor, Janet Leigh, Rossano Brazzi and Mari Astor as Marmee. It was as close to the book as a movie could be.
I’m kind of ashamed to admit I’ve never read Little Women or seen any of the movies. I need to remedy that!
I love “Little Women” and have liked both film versions I’ve seen for different reasons. What an awesome classic!
I love Little Women. The only movie version I remember at all is the one with Christian Bale.
Little women is amazing. I’ve only ever seen the version that came out in the 90’s but it’s one of my very favorite movies!
I have read Little Women several times, but don’t remember seeing it in movie form.
I have read both Little Women and Little Men. I enjoyed them both.
I’ve read Little Women, but I’ve never seen any of the movies. Hmm, that might have to go on my to-watch list. :)
I’ve read Little Women. I like the Claire Danes version of the movie.
I have read Little Women, but it has been many years and would like to re-read it. I adore the Claire Danes and Christine Bale version of the movie!
