Okay, so this was supposed to go up yesterday, but I was working on my book review and didn’t get it up in time. Here is our Teaser Tuesday post for yesterday-
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!
Shanda’s Teaser:
“The way you’re acting. You seem like you’re in–”
Caitlyn reached over and planted her hand across Brittany’s mouth. “I’ll take my hand away if you promise not to say it.”
Brittany nodded so Caitlyn took her hand away. “Love.” Brittany shouted it and then ran toward the hospital doors.

Sheila’s Teaser:
” ‘Was it possible Monica’s death wasn’t related to anything else that had taken place that week? That the threats were red herrings and Monica was the random victim of a robber or a kid high on drugs? You’re stretching credibility ten feet past the breaking point. You just want to believe that there’s no threat to you-that Monica was the one harassing you and that now that she’s dead, you’re in no danger.’ ”
Methods of Madness by Stephanie Black, page94
Hillary’s Teaser:
“You know, Mitch, now that I’m dying, I’ve become much more interesting to people.”
“You were always interesting”
“Ho.” Morrie smiled. “You’re kind.”

Staring up at the door to my apartment, I said, "I'm sure I left the outside light on when I left. I knew I would be late and didn't want to have to come home to a dark apartment."
p. 123, Murder by the Book, by Betsy Brannon Green.
the first sounds–predictable
the second–mysterious
and I tried tuesday's with Morrie and couldn't get into it. How are you likeing it?
Stephanie- I'm looking forward to reading "Murder by the Book." Thanks for sharing the teaser!
Hi Kaye-
I've already read "Tuesdays with Morrie" and yes, a slow start, but really a tender and likeable book. It may not be for you, but I really enjoyed it.
Thanks for including my book. This is fun.
I'd include one from what I'm reading, but it's my wip, does that count? I vowed I wouldn't read any other books until I'm done with this one.
Actually, Rebecca, that would be fun. Share away :).
“It’s not enough that my mom is coming, but now we have a ceiling filled with toilet water.” Natalie fluttered her eyelids.
From my work-in-progress, "Promised Blessings," pg. 62.
Rebecca, I can't wait to read your new book! Please finish soon. You go lady!!
Rebecca, I love the line from your W-I-P!
I just started Murder by the Book, and I'm loving it.
Thank you, Cami!
Somehow I missed your comment in my email and just saw it on the blogger comment moderation page-
LDSWBR's first blog award- thanks!
Shanda :)
I love this so much, I'm stealing Teaser Tuesday from you for my JDP NEWS blog. (Just like I stole Mailbox Monday from various other blogs. Who said stealing can't be fun? I gave you credit, though.)
