Sarah is the author of multiple Regency-era romances, including the 2008 Whitney Award Finalist Seeking Persephone and the acclaimed 2010 release Courting Miss Lancaster. Sarah spends enormous amounts of time avoiding responsible things like cooking dinner and doing laundry and making vital phone calls. Instead, she fills her days with making up stories, talking to voices in her head, and laughing hysterically at her own wit. In other words, Sarah is not normal. She is an author.
SARAH: Favorite food or drink…? I would have to say ice cream. The recipe is very, very simple.
Step 1: Gather loose change from couch cushions, car consoles, the children’s dressers, etc.
LDSWBR: What books are on your summer reading list?
SARAH: What books aren’t on my summer reading list? I have a “to be read” stack that would give the Empire State Building a height complex. Among the titles are the latest by Annette Lyon, Janette Rallison, Josi Kilpack, etc., etc., etc. I also have a few old friends I want to revisit: Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer, William Shakespeare. Dude. I need to get started.
LDSWBR: Thank you, Sarah!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
What a fun contest, and what a generous way to promote authors! I hope you do this next year so I can be involved! I'll blog about it in the next few days and let you know. Thanks!
I've already read AND nominated Courting Miss Lancaster for the Whitneys! It's almost as fantabulous as Sarah is.
(I like her summer treat recipe. I'm tempted to go try it out. But I have kids around who will want to share.)
I think Sarah is an awesome author. I don't have a favorite ice cream shop because I don't get it out that often. My favorite kind is probable Cookie dough.
Mint chocolate chip…white chocolate raspberry cheesecake…maple pecan…mmm…Suddenly the carrots I'm munching don't taste so good.
Dear Sarah,
Yes, you really are as funny as you secretly hope you are.
Fatuously,
An Adoring-but-not-too-Creepy Fan
We usually buy ice cream and cones from the store and popsicles too! I honestly love popsicles better than ice cream, but one of my favorite ice cream flavors is Cookie Dough and then Burnt Almond Fudge is another favorite :)
I love ice-cream.
I love Sarah. (not in a creepy kind of way)
I love Sarah's books!!
Nutty Coconut from Baskin Robbins is the best:)
Loved the interview. My children are going to the regional championship vacation bickering games this year. I think I'll make a paper chain to countdown days 'til school is in again.
My favorite ice cream shop is actually a frozen yogurt shop called Tutti-Frutti's. Yum!
I am not a chocolate fan (gasp!) so I like all of the odd flavors like blueberry muffin and cotton candy.
Once again, another fun interview!
We love Blue Bunny ice cream, especially Bunny Tracks
I love Sarah's books. Courting Miss Lancaster was wonderful. So was Seeking Persephone. (My copy is for sale at $10,000.)
I love the sugar-free chocolate frozen yogurt at the Frozen Yogurt Junction in American Fork, UT.
Okay, so I'm following you on Twitter now but it won't let me send you a direct message. Can this count until I figure it out…?
I didn't know you were doing a 30 page critique! Awesome!
My favorite ice cream is Rocky Road, or Brownies on the Moon. I'm a sucker for chocolate!:P
We usually do the store bought ice cream, it's so much cheaper. I like Chocolate Brownie,(it has pieces of brownie in it.)
